Short Boilered Traction Engine

I have been meaning to build one of these for a long time and finally found time to make one. The modification is fairly straightforward and the result really quite cute. Here are pictures and there are videos of it running on the website.

Mamod Traction Engine Carriage Lamp :

The carriage lamps fits to the chimney of the Mamod Traction Engine. One of the advantages of this is that there is no drilling of your engine just clamp it around the chimney and remove it if you change your mind.

Steam Wagon Foden Front Wheel :

These have a similar pattern to the SW1 rear wheel but in 2.5 inch diameter so are intended to replace the front wheels. They come machined but unpainted.

Full Wilesco Parts List

A new section has been added to the Wilesco website listing all currently available spares. It is orgaised by model number, so if you know that then select it from the list and a full (available) parts list will appear. Note that this does not have all the parts on the site, the emphasis is on Wilesco's own standard parts list and not so much on retro or copy parts. Have a look and I'm sure it will become much clearer.

And the saga continues. Last delivery date I heard was early June, I assume this year?? Give me strength!

Wilesco Burners

Added another 12cm brass tube spirit burner to fit the largest of the Wilesco engines. Once again as a result of a customer request. So I think there is now a spirit burner for the whole range of Wilesco engines.

Once again we have supply problems from MSS, namely the straight track and Maroon loco. They cannot give me any date as to when things will be back to normal and do not seem to realise how serious a problem this is. Without straight track there are no railway sets. Points have been on order for about a year now with no information as to when they will become available. Very frustrating.

A few minor plusses in that we have a few more spares added to the site and the range of rolling stock kits have increased.
